Chris introduces teaching strategies for using Unfold Studio in your classroom, based on the past eight years of workshops and curricular integrations in middle- and high-school classrooms around the country and overseas.

We focus on writer's workshop, the overall structure of a classroom where students are spending most of their time working on personally-meaningful stories, as well as reading and discussing other peoples' work. Chris shares strategies for delivering content without disrupting the workshop (mini-lessons), ideas for how to help students when they get stuck (even if you're outnumbered and this is new for you!), and the theatrical approach we use to sharing stories within the classroom.
